Hosted by the Data Visualization Society, Outlier will provide inspirational talks, the ability to meet and connect with others, and the opportunity for all attendees to have a voice.
The conference will also reflect and celebrate the global visualization community. We see this event as an opportunity to think outside of the box and make something unique and different.

An overall great experience for me, meeting a very friendly, supportive, and engaging community! The random 1-on-1 networking meetings were especially exciting and extremely valuable to me.
The conference was truly diverse, very well organised, and despite being remote I connected with so many new people and I felt part of a vibrant community.
I had a couple years of coding experience and only a little bit of exposure to data visualization, but Outlier made me feel that my message was still important! My incredible mentor, Emma Margarita, was patient and gave me insightful feedback on my presentation.
I loved Outlier! It was perfectly organised, mixing educational and inspirational talks, casual get-togethers, and fun activities. I appreciated how it included people from different regions, experience levels, and backgrounds. It gave opportunities and friendships, further opening my eyes to the beauty of data visualisation and its community!
